Will I have homework every night?

Homework is assigned each school day, and is due at the next
class, unless
otherwise noted. Students are also expected to read at home for
90 minutes
per week, and to keep track of this independent reading on a
weekly
reading log (signed by a parent). Reading logs are distributed on
Friday,
and are due the following Friday. Long-term projects are
assigned usually
two to four weeks before their due dates.

What if I forget to do my homework?

Students are expected to turn in homework when it is due, except
in case of
illness or other unforeseen emergency circumstance.
(Arrangements will be
made by the teacher to set a new due date for those
assignments.) A student
will earn half credit for homework that is turned in one day
late. If
homework is more than one day late, the student will earn a grade
of zero
for that assignment.
