 It is important that children look over their spelling words nightly.

Fundations Homework Guide:   

 

 

 

 

   1.  Dictate the word or sentence.
   2.  Have your child repeat it.
   3.  Have your child write it.
   4.  Read the word or sentence again and have your child proofread it carefully.
   5.  Check his/her work.

 

Please read for at least 60 minutes weekly and record it on the reading log.


Reading logs begin this week.  All second graders are required to read each night for homework.  Students are asked to read 10 to 15 minutes a night or 60 minutes a week.  Please record the title of the book and author, along with the number of minutes read each night.  Please return reading logs each Monday (due date at the top of the reading log page)
