- Medications must be administered at school by the nurse. If your child
needs to receive medication at school, the parent must provide a written
doctor's order and written parent permission.
- Children may receive over-the-counter medications like Tylenol and
Ibuprofen (motrin/advil) if parents have given their permission by signing
the blue emergency blue form (sent home on the first day of school).
- All medication must be in the original pharmacy or manufacturer's
container. No other containers are acceptable. (I am not able to administer
any medication that is sent to school in a baggie or an envelope.)
- All medications must be delivered to the school nurse by a parent or
responsible adult. Children are not allowed to bring medication to school.
