- Medications must be administered at school by the nurse. If your child needs to receive medication at school, the parent must provide a written doctor's order and written parent permission. - Children may receive over-the-counter medications like Tylenol and Ibuprofen (motrin/advil) if parents have given their permission by signing the blue emergency blue form (sent home on the first day of school). - All medication must be in the original pharmacy or manufacturer's container. No other containers are acceptable. (I am not able to administer any medication that is sent to school in a baggie or an envelope.) - All medications must be delivered to the school nurse by a parent or responsible adult. Children are not allowed to bring medication to school. - The NRSD medication policy is available on www.nrsd.net
