How often should my child read each day?

Every child should read for twenty minutes each day.  
It is also important for parents to continue reading aloud to their children.

How often does my child need to practice math facts?

Math facts, addition and subtraction, should be practiced routinely and 
intermittently for about ten minutes per day.

Should my child bring in a snack daily?

 Yes, one nutritious snack should be sent daily.  We will have snack in the 
morning
around 10:15 depending on our schedule. Snack is about ten to 12 minutes so
please plan accordingly.

Can I send in a treat for my child's birthday?

Any type of food will no longer be an option in celebrating your child's
birthday in
class. However, you many send in another type of 'treat' such as pencils,
stickers, etc. may be passed out to celebrate your child's special day.

What if my child's birthday is in the summer?

Summer birthdays will be celebrated at the end of the  year.  You make pick a 
day in June and let me know a few days in advance.

What if my child forgets his/her lunch?

We never let a child go hungry.  They are able to charge for that day.
