4th Grade Field Day!!!
Thanks to all of you who have already signed up to volunteer for our 4th Grade Field Day scheduled for Friday, June 7th (rain date scheduled for Monday, June 10th.) For those of you who have not yet volunteered, but wish to do so, please respond to Missy Callen mcallen73@comcast.net ASAP. Please note details below and let her know what time slot/s you are available and what assignments you are interested in working (in order of preference). We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Also please note if you are available only June 7th or June 10th, or both days.
Volunteers Opportunities:
Team Leaders* -- Supervise your team of about 8 or 9 children. Lead them through our 11 scheduled stations of games, activities, lunch. (We will need 1 large team cooler per team for lunches. If a team
leader has one, we would ideally like to borrow for the day.)
Game Leaders -- Manage specific game/station (example -- 3 legged race).
Hospitality - Help with snacks, drinks, miscellaneous.
Bathroom runners -- Bring students inside building to use facilities.
Volunteer Time Slots:
8:30 - 11:15
11:00- 2:15
All Day -- * If at
all possible, we would like the "Team Leaders" to be with us for the
entire day rather than splitting.
Supplies:
Goldfish
8 oz clear plastic cups
Tent (to borrow)
Water Jugs (1 - 3 gallon)
Finally, just a reminder that unfortunately we cannot have younger siblings attend the Field Day.
Also, all volunteers MUST have a CORI on file already.
