Math Camp 2013 Math Camp is FULL for grades 2-5. NO more registrations are being accepted for gr. 2-5. Math Camp for grades 6-8 is still open. Below are most of the details you may be wondering about for Math Camp this year.&nbsp; If you'd like to register your child for Math Camp 2013, you will see the Math Camp brochure in the Expanded Horizons packet when it is sent home in the spring.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have also included the registration forms in a PDF file at the bottom of this page. The deadline for registration is June 14th.&nbsp; All students who register by this date will be automatically enrolled in math camp until the camp reaches its maximum capacity.&nbsp; NO CONFIRMATION will be sent home. I never received a confirmation letter.&nbsp;Is my student enrolled in math camp? Yes, all students who register for math camp by June 14th&nbsp;are automatically enrolled.&nbsp;IF the camp reaches its capacity, you will be notified. &nbsp;Feel free to email me if you are concerned I did not receive your child's registration.
Is it too late to sign up for Math Camp? Math Camp registration is open through the June 14th.&nbsp;(Teacher and assistant positions need to be filled based on the number of math campers.)
What are drop off/pick up procedures?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;You have two options: *You may drop your child off at the circle in front of the Ahern.&nbsp;A math camp assistant, holding a MATH CAMP sign, will be there to pick the children up at 9AM and bring them to their classrooms.&nbsp;At noon, you may pick up your student at the same circle outside of the Ahern.&nbsp;
***OR*** *You may drop off and pick up your child at his/her classroom.&nbsp;Classroom doors open at 9AM and all students leave the classroom at noon.&nbsp;We will dismiss students from their classrooms to their guardians at noon.&nbsp;All students still in the classroom at noon will be walked out front to wait with their teachers.&nbsp;(See option 1.)
What classroom will my student be in? Math Camp classrooms will be rooms 124, 125, 126, and 127.&nbsp;(Exact placement will not be determined until June 14th.)&nbsp; There will be signs and teachers directing all students to their rooms.&nbsp;&nbsp;There will be lists of students outside each classroom on the first day of math camp. Does my child need to bring a snack? Yes.&nbsp;Please make sure your child brings a snack and drink.&nbsp;All children will go to the cafeteria from 10:20 until 10:40 with the rest of the Expanded Horizons campers.
My child has a food/bee sting allergy.&nbsp;Who do I tell? All teachers are aware of allergies that you listed on the permission slip.&nbsp;If you forgot to list something, please be sure to tell your student&#8217;s teacher.&nbsp;If he/she has an Epi pen, please make sure the teacher is aware that the Epi pen is in your child&#8217;s backpack (or wherever you'd like it kept.
Someone else is picking my child up from camp (or I&#8217;d like my child to walk home).&nbsp;Is this okay?
