My name is Colin Vogelgesang, but for obvious reasons, you can call me Mr.V.
This will be my 12th year at the Ahern Middle School and my third working
with the talented Mrs. Jeannotte.
I graduated from Connecticut College in 2001 and have been teaching here ever
since. I received my Master's Degree in Literacy and Language at
Framingham State College.
My wife, Kaitlin, and I are the proud parents of a wonderful 3 year old
daughter, Kelsey, and a 1.5 year old daughter, Mackenzie. Mackenzie was
actually born on the first day of school last year! Perhaps you'll get
to meet them both at some point this year!
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions throughout the course of the
year. Email works great, but we will also be glad to respond via written
notes and phone calls.
While I love the summertime, I'm so excited to meet the new 5th graders!
