| Topics for the week of 10/29/07
This week the focus is on patterns. Not jsut recognizing them but
describing them, stating the rule that will generate a given pattern. I
will expect you to be able to use words and math expressions to state these
rules.
We will focus on a couple classes of sequences; arithmetic (where terms are
gnerated by repeated addition) and geometric (where terms are generated by
repeated mulitplication.
This will be my last week teaching. I will miss it and I will miss you. I
expect to good things about you in the future.
Tests and Quizes:
Test - Friday 10/12 - Integers Unit test
Please note this will NOT be taken in a group setting, like the last 2
quizes, you will be doing this individually.
