RE: ESSENTIAL QUESTION
The essential question this unit was based on is: "Why do people take
unnecessary risks?" While your are waiting for Mr. Cabral and Mr. Blake to
decide whether or not the class will be allowed to travel to Alaska to watch
the Iditarod, reflect upon (think about) the activities and assignments you
have completed during your study of the Iditarod and attempt(try) to answer
the question by writing an 10-12 sentence paragraph. Come up with at least
three (3) reasons why people take unnecessary risks. Make sure you support
statements made in your paragraph by including examples of things you
learned while studying the Iditarod.
