Welcome to our Homework Page! All assignments will be posted daily
on the homework board in the classroom. However, I also will post
assignments here for reference in case you forget to write down an
assignment, are absent the day of an assignment, or need to review
which assignments have been completed prior to a quiz or test.
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE CLEARED AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM.
Selected problems from each assignment will be reviewed in class each day.
It is your responsibility to make corrections and take notes as we discuss
each assignment. Every day homework will be checked off. From time to
time, I will collect an assignment after our class review and will grade it
as a quiz. The homework completion percent and the 'quiz' grades for
these collected assignments will be averaged together as the homework
component of your math grade each term.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE UP HOMEWORK WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT. TO
RECEIVE CREDIT FOR SUCH ASSIGNMENTS, YOU MUST SHOW MRS. O'BRIEN THAT IT IS
COMPLETED SO THAT IT CAN BE CHECKED OFF IN THE HOMEWORK GRADE BOOK.
Keep all completed/corrected homework in your math binder - you will
need your papers to review for tests and quizzes throughout the year!

3.5, and 3.6 sheets. Be ready to ask questions on Monday in preparation for
the Quiz 2 from Ch 3.

Academic -
11/6 (White/Gold - due 11/9), 11/9 (Green) - p.94-95 Guided Practice #1-8;
begin working on Ch 2 Test A to prepare for Ch Test next week.
NOTE - Ch 2 Test will be Thursday 11/12 for all classes. There will be a
special review session on Monday 11/9. Students will take a practice test to
help prepare for the test on Thursday.
11/9 - Finish Ch 2 Test A. This will be the study guide for the Ch 2 Test.
11/12 & 11/13 - Once finish the test: Open Response #14, p. 114, #1-22.
11/16 - p 114, #1-21
11/17 - Rewrite Open Response #14 on answer sheet
11/18 - Multiplication worksheets & fill in Multiplication table
11/20 (Green), 11/23 (White/Gold) - Do assigned word problems from 2.8
hand-out (to practice problem solving using Multiplication skills);
11/24 - Make corrections to Chapter 2 Test (students who received less than
70 are eligible to make corrections and resubmit to improve their grade.
Tests must be signed by parent/guardian before corrections will be accepted.
Corrections are due MONDAY, 11/30 for White & Green, and TUESDAY, 12/1 for
Gold.
