Welcome to room 301 and Mr. Michitson's web
page.

The first term is over and parent teacher conferences will
be soon. It has been a busy time and I have enjoyed working with my students.
On the horizon are a lot of holidays, then some cold
weather, then spring...before you know it you'll be thinking of the beach!!
Time does pass quickly. We will be moving into science,
working on measurement and number sense, and continuing with the literacy
framework.

Some ideas to encourage your child are :
Ask them to tell you something they learned
Read to them
Explain how you make decsions, how you think through
problems
Ask them about their homework, does it make sense? Why
are they doing it?
Encourage them to find things out for themselves
