Homework enables a child to develop responsiblity and practice,
independently, academic skills being taught in class.
For right now homework will go home on Monday. Please try to have it
returned by Friday. Your child should also be reading or being read to
throughout the week.

Completed papers with a sticker,stamp or smiley face stay at home.
Decodable reader booklets are to be kept at home so your reader can read
nightly.
On Friday your child will be bringing home a leveled reader. (It is the one
with the colored pictures.) The leveled reader must be returned on Monday, as
they needed for other groups.
