I've been teaching for approximately 30 years. I've been at the
Hansen School for almost all of those years. I was in special
education before going back to the classroom 15 years ago.
I live in North Easton with my husband, two sons and our dog, Buddy.
I love teaching and being involved with children of all ages.
I love sports and to travel anywhere I can afford to go to! So far
I've been to Greece, Canada, Hawaii, Aruba, Bahamas, and across the
country and back by car. There are still so many places to visit!
My mission for the class is to create a positive learning environment
which meets the individual needs of all my students. I want everyone
to achieve to their fullest potential and to enjoy learning! I try to
instill a love of learning in everyone and help students meet their
goals and dreams. One of the most important things I try to teach my
students is that everyone has a unique strength and children need to find
out what their strength is and pursue it with passion... whatever it may
be!
