I have been teaching in Stoughton since 1989, and I have been
teaching second grade for the majority of my years in the Stoughton Public
Schools. This is my eighth year at the Helen H. Hansen Elementary
School. I enjoy reading, skiing, traveling and watching sports with my
husband and family. I have three teenage daughters who keep me busy at home.
My mission for my classroom is to establish a nurturing, positive, enriching
environment where my students may feel comfortable taking chances. It is my
hope that they will feel proud of the successes they experience. I hope to
provide opportunities where the children may also experience some fun during
the learning process and become life long learners.
