Lisa J. Rogers lives in Wellesley and has a daughter in the Wellesley Public Schools. Lisa has a background in English literature, journalism, and communications. She has been at Hardy School since 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, a Master of Arts in English Literature from Boston College and a Master of Library Science in Information and Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University. She teaches library classes for grades 1-5. This year, Hardy School will focus on helping students' social growth with respect to confronting bullying and teasing. The library will support this goal with read-alouds and related activities.
Karen Baldwin lives in Wellesley and has three children in the Wellesley Public Schools. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Williams College and a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University, where she met her husband, Tim Baldwin, who is a first-grade teacher at Hardy School. Karen taught second grade for five years and has worked as a children's librarian for ten years at the Weston Public Library. She also works at The Children's Bookshop in Brookline. Karen is the Hardy Instructional Library Assistant and teaches kindergarten library classes.
