is an afterschool ensemble that meets at least once a week. Rehearsals will be rotated between afterschool and evening times so that students may
participate in this group. The emphasis of this ensemble will be the learning of various styles of music - jazz, swing, blues, etc. In addition, all
students in the ensemble will be given the opportunity to explore the components of jazz improvisation.The Jazz Band Workshop will perform in
the Spring Band Concert. Sign-ups for the Jazz Band Workshop will take place in February.
