MAY/JUNE 2012
Is it possible that school is almost over and it will soon be time for summer vacation? Where did this school year go? It has been wonderful to watch the children grow and learn. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS THURSDAY, JUNE 7th. We will be having an ice cream party – more information to follow!
Plans for May and June
In April we learned about the jungle and the desert. We are now focusing on Earth and Sky, which includes learning about night/day, weather, seasons and taking care of our planet.
We will have the combined evening Preschool/Kindergarten Sing Along and Art Show. We will be practicing the songs throughout May so you will probably get some previews at home.
The next few weeks we will be saying "farewell and best wishes" to our preschoolers who will be going to Kindergarten in September. We will miss every one of the children “graduating." We are proud of all they have learned and how much they have grown since they first came to our school. Thank you to all the families that have shared their children’s development with us.
The 4-day classes are all invited to our Carnival on FRIDAY, May 25th(raindate, Friday, June 1st). Please mark your calendars to come to school for the regular school hours on Carnival Day.
