The Social Studies portion of the semester will supplement the Social Studies curriculum the students learn in the general classroom.
Grade 3:
The students will study a significant person in Massachusetts history and learn important facts about that individual.
Grade 4:
The students will study Canada and Mexico. The students will compare what they are learning about the regions of the United States to Canada and Mexico.
Grade 5:
The students will study our government focusing on significant people, significant places, and the three branches of government.
