Friday, May 17:

All 5th graders will be participating in the Living Wax Museum.  Students received a packet of information yesterday about the project.  Students will choose a famous person of historical significance, research the person, write a speech in the first person, and prepare some type of prop (costume, posterboard, artifacts, etc.) for the day of the Living Wax Museum.  Students need to turn in a resources page indicating the sources they used to find the information.  Students must use at least one book and one electronic source.

By Monday, May 20, students need to have chosen their person and have the person approved by Mrs. Vittoria.

The project packet students took home yesterday has other important due dates on it. such as the date for turning in a rough draft, final speech, etc.
