MONDAY & TUESDAY!  The Singalong/Art Show is here!  

AM class - Monday, May 20th @ 6:30

PM class - Tuesday, May 21st @ 6:30


Please deliver your child to the classroom at 6:15.  The performance will begin at 6:30 in the cafetorium.   After the singing, we will have an opportunity for a class photo.  Then your child will be dismissed to you to go view the artwork.  Kindergarten Artwork will be displayed in the gymnasium.  PreK Artwork will be displayed in the connector between Placentino & Miller.  ***If your child will not be participating, please try to let me know ahead of time.  


Reading Street: This week we completed our study of the letter, Uu and discussed, “What kind of work do trains do”?  The children listened to the story, The Little Engine That Could.  This "classic" book is appealing for it has a theme and characters that the children easily identify with.

Letter of the week:  Next week, we will be studying the letters Vv & Zz.  Please help your child to make a letter bag for either Vv or Zz or both. 


Math news:  We've been working on composing teen numbers with the use of ten frames.

Our annual Carnival is coming!  HEPTA will be asking for volunteers.  However, I personally will be looking for volunteers to run my "mini-golf" booth.  I will provide more details to our room parents.  The date for the Pre-K/Kindergarten Carnival is set for Friday, June 8th.


FYI - The last day of school for the PM class will be Tuesday, June 25th.  The last day of school for the AM class will be Wednesday, June 26th.
