2011-2012 Community Service Project: "Rails to Trails"
We are looking for rakes to use for the day and it would be a great help if you can lend one for the day.  Unfortunately, rakes cannot be brought on the bus so we would kindly ask you to drop it off at the main office on Tuesday, May 29 and it will be ready for pick up on Wednesday afternoon on May 30 Our rain date is June 1.  In the event we cancel May 30, we will keep your rake until noon on June 1.

Rakes

  1. Mark with your last name
  2. Drop off Tuesday, May 29 in the main office lobby
  3. Pick up anytime after noon Wednesday, May 30

Project Details

  1. “Rails to Trails”  project is led by Nic Parish
  2. Located off Woodland Street
  3. Our job for the day is to clear the trail of leaves, debris and new growth
as part of the Rails to Trails system.
  4. Every student should bring gloves (gardening type) and should wear long pants to prevent poison ivy.  Later in the afternoon we will be outside on school grounds so students may certainly bring shorts to change into particularly if it’s hot outside.
