Food Policy

Snack
For snack, students should bring foods that do not contain peanuts or nuts.
This also includes foods that are processed in a plant that processes peanuts
or nuts. This can be found at the bottom of ingredient labels.

For lunch, students are able to bring in any food.

***We do not have birthday celebrations with food. Instead we do a birthday
class activity each month selected by the birthday students. Students also
receive a birthday t-shirt.***

We will occassionally have parties with food during some holidays and
celebrations.

Please copy and paste the following link into your browser to see foods that
can be sent in for our parties. Room parents will coordinate the food for
parties.

Please note that these ingredients can change and it is important to look at
the labels before sending the food in. All food will be checked by the nurse
as a precaution. Please note that if sending in a variety pack, it will be
important to check the ingredients of each flavor or style of snack.

***If food sent in for a party does not meet the guidelines it will have to
be sent back home. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.***
