: : : : Photo: About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher Thanks for coming to the class web page. My name is Mrs. Renee Popek and I have been teaching for many years. Prior to coming to Holliston I taught in Marlborough at a private school. I received my a BA in art education from Anna Maria College in 1980 and am certified to teach grades k-12. I received my Masters from Lesley University in 2000 specializing in curriculum and the arts in learning. I am also an adjunct faculty member at Dean college in Franklin I teach Intro to art. I am very pleased to be teaching in Holliston. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Mission Label: Mission My goal is for the students for feel comfortable in learning about art. I want each student to learn to express themselves through the art works that we create in class. It is also important to me that the students are exposed to some art history as well.
