AU is advanced understanding where the student can take information beyond a 4th grade curriculum level independently. ( I rarely give these out)

WU is a working understanding and means that the student is being successful with the 4th grade curriculum topic on an independent level and occassionally might need a little support

DU is a developing understanding where the student has equal strengths and weaknesses with the 4th grade level curriculum topic and needs support to meet with success.   

LU is limited understanding where the student needs ongoing support, review, and reinforcement to meet with success on the topic.
