Travel Literature Unit
This unit was created as part of a fellowship with the Massachusetts
Historical Society in Boston. The curriculum uses primary sources--travel
literature and maps--to illuminate the historical geography of the regions we
study in World Geography. All sources are held by Massachusetts Historical
Society.
The maps and geotagged text that are linked below are best viewed in Google
Earth (select View in Google Earth from the toolbar once the maps have opened
in Google Maps). Enjoy!

where they went and the physical and human geography--people,
places, and things--they saw.
Username: last name + 1st 3 letters of 1st name
Password: RAMS + last 4 #s of home phone
(EXCEPT Mrs. Bailey's Davis Museum project folks--your password
is 1st 2 letters of 1st name + last 4 #s of home phone)
