Who is Mr. Bailey? Tim Bailey is a new teacher at Holliston High School. He is in his tenth year as a teaching professional, having taught at Oyster River HS in Durham, NH, and at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical HS in Easton, MA. Mr. Bailey has a BA in English from Union College of Schenectady, NY, and a Masters in Teaching from UNH.
Can I make up homework? Students who were in class when the homework was assigned and are in class when the homework is due are expected to have completed the assignment. Only students who were absent can make up a homework grade.
Can I make up a test or quiz that I bombed? No. Students will be given plenty of notice for major tests and quizzes, and should be prepared for the assessment that day.
How do I contact Mr. Bailey? Parents are encouraged to make contact with Mr. Bailey, who answers email in the mornings before school, usually between 6:45 and 7:25. You can email him at baileyt@holliston.k12.ma.us
How can I earn extra credit? Mr. Bailey may offer one extra assignment per term that students can use to replace a low test or paper grade. Also, Mr. Bailey's students who never ask to leave class are awarded extra credit, as are students with perfect attendance. It pays to stay in class!
