Our children are super excited about the Enginneering Design Process. They have been learning about different simple machines and how to use the enginneering design process to make work easier. Please review this project with your child tonight and begin the imagine and create process as soon as possible. Project Guidelines available under our science page.

The last day to check out library and classroom books will be on May 21st. Therefore, all library and classroom books will be due back on Tuesday, May 28th. Please begin to look around your home for any books that belong to Miss DeFeudis or the Houghton Library so that we can return these book in the upcoming weeks to their owners and future readers will have the opportunity to enjoy this literature. Thanks for your support in collecting and returning these books in the upcoming weeks!

Please note that our state MCAS Math Tests will now be held on Wednesday & Thursday of this upcoming week, May 8th and May 9th. Families can best prepare their children for these important tests by reviewing practice packets and open response items from your child's assessment section of their math 3-ring binder. Also, please encourage your child to get plenty of rest this week and enjoy a healthy and hearty breakfast on the mornings of May 8 and May 9. Children may also choose to bring in an extra snack to have right before the tests on these days. Thank you for your necessary support at home! 
Make up MCAS tests will take place for grade 3 children on May 10th and 13th.
