Hey there!
Welcome to seventh grade Language Arts! Someone once told me that seventh
grade is where all of the action is, and they were right. It is a big year;
you'll learn many new skills, meet a lot of new people, and work your way
through another year of your education. I look forward to meeting all of you
in the coming months. (I can't believe that the year 2010 is almost here.)
This is the beginning of Term 1. If you are in a race, it's always a good
idea to get off to a quick start. Set some goals for your first term of
seventh grade. What kind of grades do you want to get? How can you make this
first term easier? What is the secret to life? (You don't have to answer the
last question.)
I update this site each day for your convenience, so feel free to check up
on homework, assignments, and important dates.

MR. LEIDNER'S GRADING POLICY:
Tests, Quizzes, Journal Questions, and any other assignments, are all
worth the same amount of points. I will just use a straight average of all
graded material. Your Homework average will be counted twice.
