   Team Updates: 

After school homework help is available on Tuesday and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:00.  High school students  help in all subject areas.  Snacks are served!  Tuesday: Room 333   Wednesday Room 367.

English
Monday 2/8/10        All Write a Haiku poem for your collection
Green class --Write a 'Senses' poem
***Pronoun re-test will be on Wednesday. You must complete the pronoun
outline and see me in order to take the retest.

Tuesday 2/9/10 All write two Cinquain poems--one word and one syllable 
Blue and Yellow classes - write a 'Senses' poem
***Pronoun re-test tomorrow-- you must complete the pronoun outline in                                     order to take the re-test! 
I will be in the lab after school today and tomorrow for anyone who needs to                                work on their Powerpoint poetry project due Thursday.

Wednesday 2/10/10All write a 'Weather' poem

Thursday  2/11/10   All write a synonym poem or one of your choosing.
Orange class write a 'Senses' poem

Friday  2/12/10  Make final copies with illustrations for this week's poems (5)if you haven't           already.  Poetry Collections may be turned in early 2/12/10 for extra points                                      or they can be turned in after the break on Tuesday, 2/22.
MCBA #5 will be due Feb. 24, 2010.

                    Check assignment books for nightly homework.
                    If necessary call Homework Buddies who should be listed in assignment books.

 

SCIENCE:
Monday 2/8/10:  Keep working on science fair projects.
Tuesday 2/9/10: Element Cube Project is due on Friday. We are working on this in class on Wednesday and Thursday.  Most work on this project will be done in school. **Element Mini-Quiz on Friday!
