Dear
Families,
Mrs. Johnson and students in Room 183 would like to invite your family to come and
share a presentation regarding a family tradition or special holiday that you
celebrate. Themes may also include
friendship, diversity, trust, manners, respect, team, work, being green, peace
and health/nutrition.
Additionally, families are welcome to read a book, do a small
project/activity or a simple demonstration. We welcome all interesting topics that may help teach our
students a different way to experience their everyday world. Please
remember that Fiske has a no food policy, so please do not bring in any snacks
as part of the presentation!
These
activities will take place in the mornings from 9:05-9:35, during our Social Studies time. The presentations should last a total of 20 minutes.
Please
let me know if you will be able to come to our class and share something
special with the kids. The
students in Room 183 are looking forward to it!
