Breakfast with Books

Dear Class 5T Families,

As I mentioned at Back-to-School Night, you have the opportunity to join us for a "Breakfast with Books" Book Club.  The idea behind this book club is to have students and families reading books together at home and then coming in once a month to participate in a book talk.

Our first book is Al Capone Does My Shirts  by Gennifer Choldenko.  We will begin our discussion at 8 AM in Room 21 on November 18th.  If you wish to participate, we would love to have you!  Please let me know if you plan on joining us.  If this month doesn’t work out – consider joining us next month.  Our next meeting after November 18th will be on Friday, December 16th, and we will be discussing Holes by Louis Sachar.

Feel free to bring your breakfast – a bagel, donut, or whatever you prefer!  I look forward to seeing you if you can make it!

Until then, happy reading!

Kyle Tompkins
