Head Lice

The Lexington Public Schools continue to be concerned about the problem of Pediculosis (infestation with lice) in the public schools and community. We again need your help in combating this problem. Please check your children’s heads for head lice prior to sending them to school. It is recommended that you check your child’s head on a weekly basis throughout the school year. Should you detect lice or eggs, please notify the school nurse. You can obtain further information by checking the LPS website: lps.lexingtonma.org →”School Nurse”→”Lexington School Nurses”→”Policies and Guidelines."

Do you have a loved one serving in the Military? There are many resources available to support you and your family. Please contact the school nurse for more information.
