It is tempting to have your child practice with skill books or worksheets at home over the summer to maintain their academic progress.   We don't want you to feel you have to run a school in your house over the summer, when you and your family can enjoy pleasant and fun times together.  Summer should be a time of fun learning-- a time to informally apply the skills learned during the year in reading and math and to explore ideas and activities that are interesting to your child and you without the pressure of assignments.<br />

We hope you will use this website to provide your child with fun learning opportunities this summer.  The chance to spend time reading together, playing games, or exploring new places is precious and should be seized when it presents itself.
