Social Studies
Binder Organization
SET UP:
Your binder should have a Social Studies section. The Social Studies section
should be divided into TWO sections:
Current Unit (Class notes, worksheets, and returned homework)
Reference (Returned tests and quizzes, and other important papers)
We will work together to number every paper in the Current Unit section and
keep a record of them in a Table of Contents. After each unit we will clean
out the entire section and start a new Table of Contents.
Every handout and/or paper will be hole-punched to assist you in keeping
your binder organized. If you have something that is not hole punched you
should take the time to hole-punch it and get it into your binder.
TIPS:
Clip things in your binder RIGHT AWAY!
Dont stuff papers into the pockets in the cover of your binder.
Plan on organizing your binder once a week at home.
I would be happy to help anyone stay organized, just come and see me.
Use the tabs at the end of your binder to open the rings!
Opening the binder using the rings will bend them and allow papers to slip
out, rip, and make your organization very difficult.
