Can peanut butter sandwiches be brought for lunch?

Yes. The cafeteria is the ONLY place where peanut butter is
allowed. Tables can be kept clean and disinfected there. Children with
life-threatening peanut allergies have a designated peanut-free area.

Is a note always needed when my child has a change in after school plans?

Yes. It's a safety issue. Please send a note with your child in the
morning. It lets us make sure that your child will be dismissed
to the correct place with the correct adult. Whether it's an after school
program, a playdate, or any other reason that your child doesn't go with
the usual pick-up person, we need a note from you to verify accuracy. We
will not let your child leave without one. Please do not depend on an
e-mail message to reach me in time, because I'm just not at my desk that
much.

Can a K. child be dismissed with a classmate's older sibling?

No. If there is a change in pick-up plans, we ask that an adult please
meet the students at the front of the building.

Where should I wait for my child at pick-up time?

Please pull up past the media/library entrance. This line is intended to
be a MOVING line, so the driver needs to remain behind the wheel.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ALONGSIDE THE CURB. If you wish to leave
your vehicle, please park in a parking spot, NOT along the curb. This
really helps expediate departures. (Please pass this information along
to anyone who will be doing a pick-up for you.)

Can my child go home with a friend on the friend's bus?

Sorry, no. Only children assigned to that bus are allowed to ride it.
