It's Day #2 on our schedule. Please have sneakers and appropriate clothing.
LIBRARY...
Please return books WITH BOOKMARKS on Day #3 so we'll be ready for our
exchange on Day #4.
OCCUPATIONS...
As a year long part of our Social Studies program, we love to have
parents (or another family member) come in and share with the class
what their job is all about. Let us know what would be some convenient
days and times for you, to give us some options to work into our
schedule. 15 - 20 mins. is a good length of time to plan on and
visualsare really helpful.
ARRIVAL...
Please help your child arrive ON TIME. Being at school before our
8:25 start time helps children get their day started in a more calm and
relaxed manner, doesn't interrupt the rest of the class, and starts them
on the lifelong good habit of respect for others. If it is raining, the
youngsters enter through the front door and proceed to the cafeteria.
RECESS...
We like the youngsters to have recess and fresh air everyday, if at all
possible, so please dress your child accordingly. (It's a good
idea to LABEL all clothing with your child's name during your child's
ENTIRE elementary school years. The "lost and found" box in the lobby
sadly gets to be overflowing with K - 6 unclaimed articles of clothing.
