Mrs. Foye is excited about teaching her seventh year in third grade. Prior to
this, she taught sixth grade at Memorial for nine years. Before sixth grade,
she taught first and second grade for seven years in New London, CT. While
teaching in Connecticut, she received a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree
from Connecticut College. After moving to Beverly 25 years ago, Mrs. Foye
took time off from elementary school teaching to raise her three children.
During that period, she worked part-time and was able to bring her children
to work with her at Landmark School's on-site preschool, Tot Spot. She is
the mother of two sons,Will and Hugh,in their twenties and a daughter,Molly,
(MERHS '08) who is attending Trinity College this fall as a sophomore.
She is married to Bill Foye,the former principal at Manchester High
School and Beverly High School, now employed as an administrator at
Pinkerton Academy.
Our class mission is to become motivated, independent, curious
learners. We also hope to foster harmony and kindness in our
classroom as well as in our travels. Add a little laughter and fun - it
should be a successful mix!
