Tide Pool Scavenger Hunt

This hunt is to help you learn more about the animals that live on the seashore and in the tidal zones. In your group of four one person will need to pick one zone to research from below.

Use the websites below to answer the following questions

1. How often is your zone covered by water?

2. Name three animals that live in your zone.

3. What allows you animals to live in this zone --How have they adapted?

4. Do any of the animals live in other zones also?

5. Have you ever seen any of these animals?

You may write down your answers on the sheet given or record it on the tape recorder.

As a final project you an your partners will have to create a diagram of a seashore, including models of animals from all four zones.
