Homework for first grade should be not more than 30 minutes or less than 15
minutes, Monday through Thursday, per district policy.
In January, in addition to you reading to your student every day, please make
sure your student is reading every day also.

Read new poems and demonstrate understanding by illustrating each poem-bring
poem book back on Thursday
