This initiative is in its fourth year of existence. We began the
Coffin/Gerry Pride project in order to make our two schools feel more like
one. Through monthly community meetings and all-school events we are
committed to teaching our students the fundamentals of belonging to and
acting as proud citizens of our community.
'Coffin/Gerry Pride' is committed to creating a sense of unity between our
two schools and giving the students a true sense of community. Further, we
look to provide a scaffolding on which to build upon student civic
responsibility, reflecting the district values of respect for oneself, other
people and our community.
