I am thrilled to be returning for my second year with the Coffin-Gerry
Community. While I am originally from New Hartford, New York, I have lived in Massachusetts for
the past 7 years and am happy to now live in Salem. Prior to coming to
Marblehead I spent three years working in Upton, Massachusetts (as both a
first and second grade teacher) and the previous two years as a Graduate
Teaching Assistant at the Eliot Pearson Children’s School at Tufts
University (in the Kindergarten and in the First/Second Grade multi-age
classrooms). I have many passions in working with children. Building
community, integrating technology into the classroom, mathematical thinking,
and early literacy are a few of my favorites.
My goal is to ensure each child feels respected, supported, and challenged by a warm and nurturing
learning community.
