Welcome to the 2nd/3rd Grade Language Based Program
at the Lizzie H. Coffin School and Coffin/Gerry Pride.
Children in the Language Based Program at the Coffin School are an
integral part of the Coffin/Gerry Team. Our schools join together to
encourage the students to work as a Team: to work Respectfully, to work
showing best Effort, and to show Responsibility in school.
The academic goal of the program is to teach reading, and writing
strategies, expressive and receptive language, and organizational skills,
embedding these skills throughout the curriculum.
