About The Teacher

I love teaching middle school Spanish!  I majored in Spanish at Siena 
College in Loudonville, NY. I have spent time in Madrid and Barcelona, 
Spain.  I studied abroad in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and lived with a 
Dominican family for eight months. In January 2000, I began teaching middle 
school Spanish in Queensbury, New York. In 2002, I moved to Cambridge, MA, 
and I worked as a Spanish teacher/counselor, at an alternative high school. 
In the Fall of 2003, I began teaching middle and high school Spanish at
Dedham HS, in Dedham, MA. I worked at DHS until the end of the school year 
in 2005.  In September 2005, I began my first year at Marblehead Middle 
School. I'm excited to be here and really enjoying my 4th year at MVMS.  I am
a huge Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan:)

In 2006, I was the assistant coach for Marblehead High School's boys varsity 
tennis team. In 2007, I was the coach for the new junior varsity boys high 
school tennis team at MHS.  In 2008, I coached the girl's freshman tennis 
team.  
I help run the intermural tennis program at MVMS in the Fall and Spring 
seasons.
