How can parents help with homework?

Please check the assignment book nightly. Ask to see completed assignments,
although you DO NOT need to correct, edit or revise assignments. Help your
child manage their time so assignments are completed on time. Buy your child
a desk calendar and have them write all due dates of long term assignments.
Make sure your child has the necessary school supplies. Help your child
create a quiet place to complete their homework nightly. Encourage your
child and let them know that you believe in their ability to be successful in
school.
