About The Teacher

Ms. Reynolds is a marine biologist, environmental educator, and teacher.  
She grew up in South West Florida, and has lived in New England for 10 
years.  She remains active in current marine and estuarine field research.

Ms. Reynolds previously worked as a field biologist for several years. She 
was an aquaculture technician and raised fish for commercial purposes as 
well as stock enhancement purposes of local declining fisheries (flounder 
and cod).  Ms. Reynolds became intrested in environmental awareness and 
pursued her graduate degree in education.  Before coming to Marblehead, she 
taught at the Seacoast Science Center "Safari Camp" in Rye, New Hampshire.  

Ms. Reynolds is very pleased to be working in such a wonderful community, 
and eager to connect her personal experience and knowledge of real world 
issues in science, to the classroom experience 8th grade students on the 
Blue Team will have this year.
