Hello Everyone, This year I will again be teaching at both Memorial and Dale Street. If you need to reach me, I prefer that you use email. Grade One is working hard. We have started "Ho Ho Watanay", a Native American piece. This piece is in the language of the Iroquois. The title literally means, "Sleep Sleep Little One". Besides English, this song has also been translated into French, and the children will be singing in all three languages. We are also continuing our work with "Mooses Come Walking", and we are learning songs for our December Get Along Gathering. Our December theme is "Kindness". Kindergarten be continuing the piece called, "Old King Cole". They will also be working on a Native American piece called, "Wearing My Long-Winged Feathers". This piece is in English and the children will have an opportunity to play drums. I will be exclusively at Memorial on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday I start my day at Dale Street and end it at Memorial. On Thursday and Friday I start my day at Memorial and end it at Dale Street. Please refer to my schedule for specifics. If you need to contact me, my email is druggiero@medfield.mec.edu. If you need to call, you can reach me at 508-359-5135, ext. 8850. I check my messages and email daily. Happy Holidays to all. Mr. ‘R’ (Ruggiero)
