The
Physically, students participate in activities that will improve cardiovascular fitness, fine and gross motor skills, and body awareness / coordination.
Cognitively, many activities have extensive rules that must be understood, adhered to, and applied in activities. This targets the integration of mind with body.
The Social Competency model is used frequently within the gymnasium walls. Many activities planned revolve around teamwork and students working together to achieve common goals. We expect our students to play within the rules and behave in an appropriate manner at all times!
