course signing their own!  (There is no audition!)
Please see Mr. Paradis for a printed copy.
Mr. Paradis will try to get as many students in the group as 
possible.
Please keep in mind that we cannot enter every student simply due to 
the lack of seats.

The selection meeting for this year's festival will be held on 
Thursday Jan. 7th, 2010 At that time your director will recommend 
only 
those students who have returned this sheet signed.  Students are 
chosen for this festival by director recommendation. There are NO 
auditions.

This year's festival will be held at Palmer High School on the 
following dates at the following times:
1st Rehearsal � Thursday, February 11th, 2010 � 3:00 to 7:00 PM
2nd Rehearsal � Thursday, February 25th, 2010 � 3:00 to 7:30 PM
3rd Rehearsal and Concert � Saturday February 27th, 2010  Rehearsals 
10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Junior Concert Begins at 3:30 PM, Senior Concert Begins at 4:30 PM
Snow Date for 3rd Rehearsal/Concert: Monday March 1st, 2010: 
Rehearse @ 1:00 Concert @ 7:00 PM

Please check the above dates for any conflicts including athletic 
and/or academic events. If chosen for the festival, the only excuse 
accepted for absence will be illness or family emergency.

PLEASE HAVE THIS FORM SIGNED & RETURNED TO YOUR DIRECTOR BY 
December 
15th.

STUDENT ENDORSEMENT: I understand that if selected for the QVMEA 
festival I will attend all rehearsals and the concert. My failure to 
fulfill these responsibilities may disqualify me from participation 
in QVMEA events for the remainder of this school year and the 
following academic year.  Upon acceptance I understand that a $6.00 
registration fee will be required.

PARENT/GUARDIAN ENDORSEMENT: As a parent or legal guardian of the 
above student I give my permission for her/him to be an applicant 
for 
the QVMEA music festival. I agree that my child will behave in a 
manner consistent with her/his school district�s regulations. If 
she/he is accepted I will assist her/him in fulfilling all 
obligations of preparation and attendance, and  I understand that a
