What is the best way to move files from home to school and vise versa?

A Flash Drive is the very best way to save files as it holds a lot of
information, is secure and convenient to carry. They work with all PC's
running Windows XP.

Are reports or labs due even if I am absent on the due date?

Yes! Have someone drop it off at the office or have a friend bring it in so
it won't be late. A deadline is a deadline. No one gets extra time unless
it has be prearranged with a teacher.

If my floppy disk fails and my printer is broken is my work late?

If you did not e-mail it to yourself or if you did not hand-write it, yes,
it will be late. Failure of technology cannot not be an excuse for having
late work when there is always the old fashioned way.

How can I get what is on your website when I don't have a computer?

You have time during homeroom at the beginning and end of each day to check
my websites for updates. You can also come in early to stay late to use a
computer. No excuses.

Can I pass extra credit assignments in late?

No, don't bother handing them in if they are late. I always give you plenty
of time to do extra credit. If you get a late start, don't expect an
extension on the due date.

Why do I have to rewrite my notes?

To get them into a format that is useful for you. I use color-coding in
school to help you understand different parts and how they are related. If
you don't rewrite and color-code, your notes may not make any sense to you.
A good example is the formula for writing a hypothesis. Many people are
having trouble because they haven't color-coded the formula and it doesn't
make sense. Rewrite and color-code. I'll be checking for a grade, soon.

Why do I have to look at your website each day?

All homework, long-term assignments, test and quiz dates and all other
important information will be on my website, usually by the end of the
school day. My website is your guide to doing well in this class. Use it
effectively.
